KU64 is a supporter of the "International Health Care Foundation" (IHCF)
All KU64 team members have committed themselves to strict adherence to the principles of the "International Health Care Foundation" (IHCF). This non-profit organisation coordinates a Scientific Board of more than 40 renowned scientists and dentists. The IHCF was founded in order to make global scientific findings available and transparent to experts and non-professionals alike.
ETHICAL DECLARATION
The Scientific Board of the "International Health Care Foundation" has developed a sustainable concept for dental health preservation called "OHManagement®." Our KU64 practice follows these guidelines to improve out patients' health. Therefore, we commit ourselves to the following principles of modern, prophylaxis-oriented dentistry:
1. We will take the time to talk to you in detail about your dental problems and expectations.
2. We will carefully examine your entire oral area to determine and document systematically, for example, possible caries or the state of the periodontium and the oral tissue.
3. We will create a complete health risk analysis based on the diagnostic findings.
4. In the case of active diseases, we will inform you about possible causes, in order to take steps to eliminate the problem.
5. In order to create a plan to control the disease, we will deal with it in a prognostic and pre-emptive way.
6. Our practice philosophy is focused on a thorough prophylaxis including intensive counselling on the use of safe materials and products.
7. After consultation, we will agree on a date for invasive treatment, or on a possible postponement so that the natural tissue in your mouth can be preserved for a longer time by non-invasive measures.
8. We will provide you with a written treatment plan that includes a cost estimate for the required dental therapy.
9. We will aim for a well-balanced treatment plan that takes into consideration both your wishes and our responsibility to provide professional treatment and to care for your oral health.
10. We pledge ourselves to continually enhance our professional knowledge by means of further vocational training and to document the results thus acquired in order to contribute to our Foundation's objectives, summarized in the "22-77-99 Formula" (22 teeth at the age of 77 for 99 per cent of the population!)
