Above all, this commitment focuses on a well-elaborated quality assurance on the grounds of appropriate methods and procedures with regard to dental services and the treatment of patients.

Practices associated with Dental Excellence are committed to the preservation and improvement of their patients' dental health, which is considered tantamount to quality of life.

The 8 basic principles of Dental Excellence:

1. Application of professional standards regarding prophylaxis and dentures

2. Guiding principles according to the Ethical Declaration approved by the Dental Excellence Advisory Committee

3. Patient treatment in accordance with a compendium of assured quality criteria

4. Economic security for employees and high-quality dental care for patients

5. Regular participation in EFQM-related self-assessment procedures (practice vitality tests, patient and employee surveys)

6. Continuing professional training measures

7. Continuous improvements aiming at increasing employee and patient satisfaction

8. Annual participation in the Benchmark Conference of goDentis (user meeting)
