The Design Hotel Q! in Berlin

Situated in the heart of West Berlin, the Design-Hotel Q! has been treating its guests to excellent service and  pure GRAFT design since 2004.

Trademark characteristics:

The hotel's entire look is dominated by wavy lines of red - a trademark of the GRAFT architect trio. This basic design is embellished by countless offbeat elements. Bath tubs, for example, are not installed in the bathroom, but are found near the bed.

A whirlwind success story:

It wasn't long before the Q!-Hotel in Berlin became a hotspot for national and international movie stars, artists and models. Among others, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, and Amy Winehouse have been spotted here.

"The coolest opening in 2004!" (MAX), "a cool, calming version of the future" (Herald Tribune), "a wildly hip hotel" (Elle Decoration). In its brief history so far, the Q!-Hotel has raked up numerous important design awards, and has been mentioned in the "50 coolest hotels in the world" list of the British Condé Nast Traveller magazine.

When Dr Stephan Ziegler from the dental practice KU64 discovered the Q! Hotel, he immediately fell in love with GRAFT's design concept. His vision had taken shape. So he picked up the phone straight away to talk to the architects. It was only a few months later that construction work began!

The Stack Restaurant in the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas

At almost the same time that the KU64 practice was being outfitted in Berlin, the Stack Restaurant & Bar was being built in the world-famous Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, NV in 2005. Undulating strips of layered wood givea futuristic touch to the restaurant's atmosphere. The entire design evokes connotations of the Grand Canyon, which is situated not too far from Vegas, and looks as if nature created it by accident.

This restaurant is an absolute must-see!
