Periodontitis and smoking

Dentists and doctors surely agree on one point: smoking is detrimental, plus it damages your teeth.

Smoking can deteriorate the course of periodontitis and the results of a corresponding periodontal treatment. That is why smokers need to practice even better oral hygiene and will be treated by our Dental Hygienists even more intensely. 

If you want to quit smoking, we'll do our best to assist you. KU64 offers a wide range of oral hygiene courses for non-smokers as well - just ask your dentist or contact our reception!
