Dental implants and periodontitis
Should one or more teeth be lost as a result of periodontitis, you may consider the option of a dental prosthesis. Implants are often the best method to fill tooth spaces without milling the adjacent teeth.
To prevent gingival infections around the implants (which we know from teeth as well), certain preconditions should be observed:
* Your systematic periodontal treatment must be completed
* You must practice good oral hygiene
As the risk of periodontitis can never be excluded, you can always rely on the permanent assistance of our team of dental hygienists. Just ask for our professional dental cleaning and recall programmes!
