CROWNS

Crowns offer durable protection for teeth which are seriously damaged or already contain voluminous fillings. To prevent a premature loss of such damaged or extensively filled teeth, the affected teeth can be capped and protected by crowns. Every single crown is an individual piece of art fabricated by a dental technician in the laboratory.  

VENEERS (PORCELAIN)

Veneers (porcelain) are approx. 0.5mm thin layers of restorative porcelain placed over a tooth surface. They are individually fabricated for you by our specialised dental technicians in the dental laboratory. In contrast to the use of crowns for dental restoration, our method involves only a slight drilling of the teeth before they are covered by veneers. Secondly, they provide aesthetical first-class dental restoration in a substance-protecting way, making crowns redundant whenever teeth only show minor damage.   

INLAYS

Inlays represent a high-quality method of dental restoration marked by extreme durability. At KU64, all inlays are fabricated for you individually and in close cooperation with one of our dental technicians. After shaping the milled tooth, the dental technician finishes the inlay in a high-precision process. During your next visit at our practice, the tooth will be implanted while using special materials. Before we replace your old fillings, we will personally inform you about all filling materials, application options, risks, alternatives and costs.

Adhesive (Maryland) BRIDGES

BRIDGES are a low-invasive means of teeth replacement (dental prostheses). In contrast to conventionalbridges, only the hardly visible surfaces and the enamel parts of the teeth adjacent to the gap are pretreated when an adhesive bridge is inserted. This method is far less invasive and the natural tooth substance is almost entirely preserved. Adhesive bridges can be used at any age. They can replace individual front or back teeth, provided that the existing pillar teeth are free of fillings.

IMPLANTS

IMPLANTS provide the ideal alternative whenever one's own missing teeth are to be replaced. An implant is an artificial tooth root inserted into the jaw. There are several good reasons for opting for this treatment. For instance, the usual abrasion of the adjacent teeth becomes redundant. Furthermore, a tooth implant cannot be affected by caries. Provided that an appropriate prophylaxis programme is applied, the durability of implants is similar to one's own teeth.
