Keep your teeth caries-free: Fissure Sealing

Fissures are gaps in dental surfaces which are difficult to clean and therefore susceptible to caries. That's why such tooth areas are systematically fissure-sealed, in order to protect them against food particles and other deposits that might cause tooth decay. The ideal time for fissure sealing is immediately after the complete breakthrough of the teeth. In some cases, a subsequent, so-called extended fissure sealing is also possible.
