Spinal and joint treatment according to DORN
The human skeleton is composed from numerous individual bones and joints, which should be in a symmetric, harmonious, statically and dynamically-balanced order.
Every human being, however, experiences numerous situations in life when this "skeletal order" is disturbed. The dislocation of joints, for example, may result in a malposition of the hip or even in a leg length discrepancy in combination with the painful phenomenon of pelvic obliquity, which restricts free body movement. The DORN Treatment is a manual treatment during which the therapist feels spinal blockades and malpositions and corrects them by thumb pressure.
In the course of this treatment, dislocated vertebrae and joints are pushed back into their ideal place in a gentle and careful way. Normally, the pain is already relieved during the treatment!
